For many väsen, their last memory of the Troll Queen would be of her hands clenched around her axe, only a couple of swings away from felling the ancient tree of Nattaskur. Exhausted and burdened by her choice, knowing she might divide the Väsen of the Dark Forest with the cleaving of the Rotinn-corrupted trunk, she took a deep breath and used her words to unify them with inspiration and hope. This is that story.
