Sýstir was born a half-blood Huldra, hidden and protected by her mother and sister Ada in a small world of love. But when their mother was killed for being a Vala, the sisters fled to save their lives. By the twist of fate, they were separated, and Sýstir entered the Dark Forest alone, where she became the Huldra of Nattaskur.
Patination
Iron Rust
The iron rust patination is a handcrafted technique used by Trollheim’s Senior Creature Designer Hannes Rhodin in our in-house smithy. The process combines a deep black resin with a fine iron powder that then oxides and creates the orange rust look making every sculpture a certain amount of uniqueness.
